Finding the Perfect Name for the App

Naming a developer tool is never just branding — it is deciding what the product promises in a single word.

Naming tools is harder than building the first prototype. Every candidate sounds either too generic, too technical, or too ambitious. For this project, I wanted something short, memorable, and connected to the idea of systems working in sync.

Synton kept coming back. It carries the sense of tuning, coordination, and alignment without sounding too heavy. That felt right for a product whose whole purpose is to make CI, GitHub, and Google Play behave like one continuous pipeline.

A good name does not finish the product, but it sharpens it. Once Synton was chosen, the scope became clearer too: less vague automation, more precise release orchestration.
